Found this dmf-17 from Las Vegas. It was launched on September 11th 2024. Dad and I and Roadie drove up a wash as far as we could and then hiked the last 1400 feet to it. Saw with naked eye and confirmed with binoculars.

About a mile west of last signal received. Drove out there and got a landing fix last night. Played Frogger across Trappers Loop Road north of Snowbasin Ski Resort then down a steep ravine and up to the top of a hill, about 3/4 mile. Parachute, string and sonde were stretched across the top of scrub oak trees. Broke off a dead tree and used it to reach the parachute about 20 feet up and pulled everything down.
