I’m 0 for 2 on the orange parachute line. There sonde was hanging on one side of the fence, the parachute and balloon corpse on the other. I picked the sonde side. The two contractors working in the pool had no idea about an orange parachute given it was on the other side. No problems, they let me grab it. Pulled the rest over the fence and safely recovered all.

125 days old, 2nd for today. Even easier than first one: nice hike to last known location (on my way there found small 4-tip moose antler!). Sonde on the ground only 8 meters from there. String high in birch tops. Snapped, got abot 10 meters. Found the balloon on the ground further away. It was torn, but seemed to be all there. That's why so shallow descent.

203 days old. 1st for the day was really easy. Short hike in the forest to last known position, sonde on the ground only 15 meters from that. First time I encounter sensor strip cut (bitten?) in the middle!? Didn't find the other half. Got three meters of string down. Saw the rest traversing few treetops (out of reach of my pole) but didn't spot the balloon.
