Laying in the front yard of a home on Overlook Drive, Avonworth. Recovery personnel observed balloon at maximum altitude 113,858ft over Shaler Township. Gas envelope ruptured with visible smoke/vapor cloud, debris cloud illuminated by setting sun. Sensor package was observed in free fall from point of failure. Failure occured at approximately 21:14 local time, 02JULY2026. Recovery was made 11 hours later.
