What an absolutely beautiful day for a recovery. The radiosonde landed right in the middle of a horse pasture with horses running all around. I spoke with the homeowner who opened up the pasture and we recovered the radiosonde. The homeowner, and horses, were very intrigued by the balloon and gear that landed in the pasture. The youngest of horses had a little nibble on the styrofoam before I arrived. Great homeowner, great neighbors, nice horses, and beautiful weather. Will add this radiosonde to the show-and-tell for this weekend's Scouts Jamboree on the Air (JOTA/JOTI).
