Ooo! They finally have stickers on the sondes! But no autolauncher valve yet, they are still using 2 black zip ties to secure the balloon. Sonde was about 50’ north of the road, with a decent amount of ballon remnants left over.

Landed in city of Manchester drinking water pond. Able to pull out of the water with drone lift, little bit of a challenge as string was wrapped around lily pads. Payload being in the water for several days was quite wet inside but no corrison unlike salt water. A little pond slim inside. Little alcohol cleaning and it might just fly again.

Found 10 months (305 days) after launch! I got some help: someone had found it and kindly placed it on a tree stump at plain sight :) Just 2 meters of string attached. Tried to find the rest of the string and a ballon for a moment, but it was getting dark already, didn't find anything more.

Found 13 days after launch. My first "cold" find :) Sonde found on the ground. Followed string traversing several treetops, ending in a birch top. Leaves already fallen off, but still I couldn't see the balloon!? Strange. Tried to pull down, but tangled in too many treetops, string broke.
