Caught the hunter checking out the tracks in the field, not far from the road but a challenge to find. With payload and unwinder coming down at 10 m/s was hard to see in snow. Landed under the snow next to deer tracks. Somewhat easy recovery.

Found the sonde 50’ further south from the final packet. The chute was badly fouled with balloon remnants, which caused it to land way earlier than predicted. The kind neighbor drove me out to get it in his 4x4 Gator, we got to it before the cows did! :)
