Another farm recovery, this time corn as opposed to heffers. A gentle walk along the greenway trail led us to the sonde, the lid of which had been chewed through by something (probably a bird) when we pulled it off the top of the corn field. Board looks mostly fine, will diagnose later. Apologies to the bird.

Landed with the balloon remnants just inside an Elk pasture with 8 foot high page wire fencing. I was able to reach through the fence and grab the balloon. Pulled the rest of the payload across the field and back through the fence.
