Happened to check Sondehub late at night and saw this one with 30 min left on the timer. Ran out the door with a ttgo, it was still transmitting when I got to it! Didn’t need a radio after all because the balloon fell squarely on the middle of the road with the sonde on the curb. Recovered in full.

Recovered in a field of corn stubble. 300 feet off the road is more difficult in six inches of wet snow. Good thing it was at the expected location. No signal from locator, sonde batteries dead when I got to it at 4 PM local time.
