Woot. We needed a win and this one popped up when we were already headed home. But couldn’t pass it up.
So circled back 20mins to get the last catch.
It weirdly didn’t go very high before decending. And went right through a tree at the base of a valley.

Chased unit down to where it last crossed a road, then walked in through a spruce bog to pick up the sonde. Another hand tied balloon after a week of auto launcher recoveries.
