Happend to run into the SIL of the land owner who kindly escorted me to the property owner, his FIL. Introductions were made and permission was granted to retrieve the Sonde from the field. Aside from being a 100yd trek through slushy snow in 8 foot tall corn, retrieval was straight forward and easy. Having been asked, I returned to the property owners residence so they could see the Sonde. A pleasant and lively conversation ensured where I was asked, and aswered, many questions about the Sonde and Sonde tracking and several photos were taken. Another pleasant encounter for the log.

Most of balloon and parachute in a sapling about 7 feet up. SONDE 60 FEET UP ACROOS 2 TREES.
No leaves on trees so pulled string quickly and got sonde to fall to the ground.Off trail. My home rx stil seeinge sonde but not showing as last ping on Sonde Hub. My signal was not quite 100% at home.
