When I got to the predicted landing spot there was no sonde and nothing received by MySondyGo. It apears the devide was discovered and removed by a horseback rider
an hour or two before I arrived. They drove the live device home with their path being tracked by my home receivers. The data on SondeHub show the final location at the horseback rider's house.

MySondyGo assisted recovery. A quarter mile slash through a brush filled gully to the orange parachute 185 feet north of the SondeHub predicted land location. Tangled in a huge bush 10-12 feet off the ground, I was able to reach and untie the sonde from the cord by standing on a limb.

Just the right length string. Payload on ground, parachute on top of very big tree. Could not pull parachute out of tree and could not break the string either. Definitely holds more than FAA 40 lbs.
