Nice little walk and was dangling just above picnic bench as ZOX said. Recent wind storm brought payload within reach. Was able to dislodge the chute and balloon remains before getting snagged again in the canopy. Eventually the string broke and only recovered the sonde :(

Found during trip to Sheridan. Chute was hanging about 10ft off the ground on the side of the road. Very edge of the treeline. Pulled the chute, but the sonde snapped off in the tree. First time that I have only recovered the chute.
