Radiosonde 24081818 recovered by KF0LHO

I could not have done with without the last report by WA3COS. I rolled up to the water fall distracted by a geocache, and didn't memorize WA3COS's log. I walked around for about 40 minutes trying to find the sonde, but came up empty handed. Walking back up the hill to the truck, I finally got enough cell signal to read the last report and started scanning the opposing hillside across the creek. There it was - probably 50 feet outside my search area. I walked over and grabbed it!

PRIOR LOG BY WA3COS:
2025-09-01 UNSUCCESSFUL RECOVERY. Landed close to predicted coordinates. Hiked to within 120m of site. With naked eye and binoculars, saw parachute against a large rock. It was on the other side of a small creek that I am unable to cross. Recovery should be possible by crossing the creek and hiking through 100m of scrub oak.
