Radiosonde 24050504 recovered by Larry

Really weird. Large evergreen branch still very fresh broken on ground with orange chute on top with about 600gr balloon which only had a 1in hole. Looks like a easy repair and off for another flight. Did the weight with snow break branch? We will need to travel back as payload is in tree 50 ft up swinging in clearing. Also. We decided after 5 min and weird noises that we were standing on a den. Don't think it is bear as there is tracks but not clear enough to figure out. So guessing fox den !?! Coydog?? Bobcats?? Leaning towards Bobcats den after study of sounds. But something was snoring under the big rock we were standing next to!!!

Curly, Zeppo and crew venture into wild wilderness. Easy find payload sit upright on ground. Larry, Moe and Shemp successful flew this payload's balloon up the seacoast a few months ago with KB3ZOX RS41-Ham payload obtaining an altitude of 20,000 meters after patching two small holes in balloon.
