Radiosonde W3760606 recovered by WindTurbine73

Well this one was different ! It landed in the Thames River last night. I drove to it soon after landing and found it had drifted close to the rivers edge and was not moving. I figured the balloon usually travels ahead and had made land. This morning, I returned and found the balloon and most of the string tangled in weeds on the river bank. The sonde was still floating, anchored by the string. I reeled it all in like a fish! In the end, an easy recovery from what first looked like it might float down the river.
