Radiosonde 24054175 recovered by T-800

With the temperatures plunging to well below freezing, I started feeling sorry for the poor sonde, sitting outside in the cold, unloved and forgotten. So I grabbed my gear and headed out on the 1.5hr drive to grab it. Found the sonde on the other side of the trees from the predicted landing zone, with the chute and balloon in a nice tidy pile. The sonde had a nice deep dent on the bottom from a hard landing on the gravel drive, and the balloon is completely intact, save for being split in two. That may account for the somewhat premature burst height. Heading back home, the temperature is down to 20°F. Brrr!
