Radiosonde V3310681 recovered by GaviG

A rollercoaster of a first recovery, I noticed this landed about 35 minutes from me during the night, so I decided to take an early lunch break and test my kit.... as I got closer, I could pick it up on my Baofeng, but as I parked at my parking spot, the signal stopped, either someone else had recovered it or it ran out of battery. after some scouting and no luck, I decided to look at one last place ,I found it stuck up the top of a tree! Dangling there…. Of course it had snagged by the RS41 unit….at the very top, leaning over a river! I tugged a few times and recovered the lines, Balloon remains and parachute, but the best part was still stuck up the tree where it shall forever live… a fun first Hunt…TBC
